THE NIBBLER, a gargoyle pendant hand carved for us by Yuri Terenyi

We commissioned a range of GARGOYLE pieces by Yuri Terenyi. These little guys are believed to have found their way to us around the 13th century - figurines designed as waterspouts in France. They evolved to represent guardians against evil, spiritual protectors of churches, fearsome enough to scare off evil spirits and demons.

THE NIBBLER is carved in bone and Yuri has stained this in a dye that he makes from a special tea concoction.
